Beyond the Future of Treasury: Leading in an Age of Increasing Complexity
Date & Time: October 14, 2026 ⎸ 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM EST
Cost: TMANY Members Complimentary | Non-members $50
About the event
For years, discussions about the future of treasury have focused on technology, automation, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. While these developments are important, they are not the primary force reshaping the profession. The real transformation is happening outside treasury itself.
Treasury is being asked to operate in a world defined by persistent uncertainty rather than predictable business cycles; geopolitical fragmentation rather than globalization; capital discipline rather than abundant liquidity; interconnected risks rather than isolated events; and accelerating decision velocity rather than traditional planning horizons. These structural shifts demand more than new tools. They demand a fundamentally different way of thinking about treasury.
This session introduces a new perspective on the evolution of treasury by examining the future operating environment that treasury must function in and the implications this has for leadership, liquidity strategy, capital allocation, enterprise resilience, and executive decision-making.
Participants will explore why tomorrow's highest-performing treasury functions will be distinguished not simply by technology adoption alone, but by their ability to reduce complexity, improve organizational judgment, and transform financial insight into strategic advantage.
In this session, attendees will:
Understand how economic and geopolitical shifts redefine treasury's mandate from managing financial resources to enabling enterprise-wide decision quality and resilience.
Develop practical strategies for positioning treasury as a trusted strategic partner capable of reducing complexity, improving capital allocation, and strengthening organizational adaptability.
