The Clearing House Real-Time Payments (RTP) Network represents the next era in payment origination, receipt and messaging. RTP enables businesses and consumers to send and receive funds immediately 24/7/365, directly from their bank accounts. This presentation will review the current state of the RTP Network and the path ahead as the industry progresses towards payments ubiquity in the U.S. and global interconnectivity.

Andrew Haskell is a Senior Product Manager at BNY Mellon within Immediate Payments Product Management. Andrew is responsible for BNY Mellon’s strategy and development of USD Immediate Payment solutions such as Real-Time Payments and Tokenized Payments now available with Zelle®, and is a representative in multiple committees and work groups at The Clearing House and Early Warning Systems.


Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Andrew was a Senior Product Manager within Capital One’s Commercial Bank managing a wide range of payables and receivables products (Account Reconciliation, Positive Pay, Controlled Disbursement, Electronic Bill Presentment & Payment and the Vendor Payment Program), most recently acting as the Head of Global Clearing, responsible for Wire Transfer with a focus on Domestic and International USD Clearing, FX, Nostro Account Management and Correspondent Bank relationships. Andrew also has prior experience in Product working for Fundtech in their cash management Professional Services Group.


Andrew holds a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Science in Finance

and a Bachelor of Business Administration, all from Georgia State University in Atlanta. He is a Certified Treasury Professional and Certified Scrum Product Owner.
